Love live music?

Live music touches us all. There is no CD, mix tape or DJ that can replace the feel of live music.

The Music Society of UTS (MuscUTS) was formed in 1991 to provide students and staff of UTS with an opportunity to perform and listen to music.

For those who love to perform, MuscUTS currently comprises an SATB Choir, Chamber Orchestra, Jazz Band and Glee Club. Each group holds a weekly two hour rehearsal under the direction of a professional conductor. Informal Jam Sessions are also held throughout the semester during afternoons, to allow fellow music lovers to connect and find which areas they are most interested in.

New members are always welcome and we don’t audition singers or musicians in any of our groups.

For those who love to listen, there are regular events to look out for. Including jazz nights, cocktail nights, lunchtime jam sessions and the Grand End-of-Semester Concerts, showcasing the fine talent we represent.

Whether you would like to attend a concert, join a group or just want to see what we offer, check out the following pages for our upcoming concerts and events, rehearsal details and contact details. And join the facebook group to be notified online!
