The voices of angels rain down upon UTS, as the choir gears up for it’s performance. Led by an internationally acclaimed conductor and an accompanist, rehearsals are Mondays 6pm – 9pm at the Ashmore Smith Room. Bring a bottle of water and sing, sing, SING along with this wonderful SATB choir.
Alton Sandico – Choir Accompanist
Alton Sandico has currently finished a Bachelor of Music specialising in Music Education. His musical training began at the age of 6 having his first lessons at a local music school located in Blacktown. At the age of 12, he transferred teachers to begin preparation for his audition into the Sydney Conservatorium of Music where his principle study has been in Piano. As such he has studied under teachers such as Elizabeth Powell and more recently Lyall Duke. He has also received masterclasses from musicians such as Daniel Herscovitch and Stephanie McCallum.
During his tme at the Conservatorium, he has taken part in the Conservatorium Choir and has also undertaken conducting studies underneath Neal McEwan and Anthony Clarke
